East End Drawings
Back in ‘95 I drew this set of sixteen images of Adelaide’s East End, exhibiting them in the front bar at The Austral Hotel on Rundle Street. I even made them into snail-mail postcards and sold them around town.
In 2024, as part of a Public Arts grant thanks to the City of Adelaide and Maras Group, they’ve been installed through the same East End streets, where you can see them all by following the East End Art Trail. The trail starts at Ebenezer Place and finishes at The Exeter front bar. Perfect.
To celebrate these drawings being back on the streets and their near 30-year anniversary, I’ve re-coloured and released them as fine art limited edition prints - available to buy through my East End Print Shop (right here!)
